Throughout this book we have quoted the words and shared the wisdom of many high-achieving real estate agents. These agents represent— in their real-life accomplishments—what we are endeavoring to teach. We are deeply grateful to all of them for their willingness to give of their time and their wisdom. It is important to note that even though these agents represent all the top national real estate companies and many of the strong regional ones, they all chose to share their knowledge without hesitation or qualification. Like us, they see real estate not in terms of individual companies, but rather in the sense of a family composed of all real estate agents. With that in mind, we chose not to identify their "larger" real estate company affiliations. The truth is their names and personal reputations are their actual "brands"—just like it should be!
In this "real-life" section of the book, we'll share sixteen of their profiles. Because we could not include them all, we selected those whose businesses, in our opinion, are most reflective of the broad base of real estate agents: the listing and sales of existing single-family homes. We hope you will enjoy getting to know them better, just as we have. Their beginnings are varied, and their stories inspirational. Their comments and observations provide both guidance and reassurance. In the end, they show us what is possible on the journey to the highest summit of real estate sales success. Enjoy!
